When I was a young boy I came home from school one day and heard sobbing coming from my mom’s room.

I looked inside.

She was crying.

“Who is she on the phone with?” I thought to myself.

It was my father from Hong Kong.

His business had just gone bankrupt, so he could no longer send us money from Hong Kong.

There was no one to take care of us now.

I had to be the man of the family and take care of my mom.

Even though I didn’t know where to start.

I had no skills.

I thought I was too young.

But I started anyway. I knew that I would do anything to care of my mom.

So for the next five years I worked every single day to make sure that I never saw my mom cry again.

I quit my job as a grocery bagger making minimum wage. I started and failed 13 different businesses and went severely in debt. And I got my first mentor.

And just recently, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. And because I spent the time developing my high-income skills, I was able to pay for the best medical treatment.

Today, she’s healthier and happier than ever.

Maybe you have someone in your life you would do everything for…

For me, that’s my mom. She’s the reason I am successful today.
